JAE is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of high- performance magnetic field and orientation measuring systems for oil and gas drilling. They provide sensor technology required for efficient oil and gas well construction as well as renewable energy production.

Synchro provided design and construction services for a 7,644-sf facility consisting of an electronic repair lab and associated office, conference rooms and employee amenities. In addition, Synchro provided design and construction for a standalone 3,000 sf non-magnetic (NMR) testing lab for the commissioning and testing of electronic products. The non-magnetic lab also included a separate 1,500 sf MEP utility house located sufficient distance from the building to reduce interference. The walls of the NMR building were constructed with 6” insulated concrete forms (ICF construction) with fibercrete reinforced concrete. The super structure of the building was designed with heavy glue laminated wood beams and the foundation included an isolated slab due to the vibration sensitivity of the equipment being housed in the building.
